Hi! I'm Emily. I have four kids ranging in age from nineteen to twelve. Our family has been in the Orinda school district for fourteen years, and I've been a part of POISE since my now middle-schooler was in the Early Intervention Program at Camino Pablo!
Like most of you, I've volunteered in many capacities within our schools and sports programs. Being a part of POISE has always been the most rewarding for me: connecting with parents who understand the challenges and the joys of parenting a neurodiverse child, sharing resources and ideas, discussing how to navigate social and school challenges, and much more.
I love knowing I can count on POISE parents when I need help — there's always something — and I hope to do the same for them!
